Line Islands, Kiribati Pacific Ocean
Eillah woke up in the middle of the night after another nightmare. She keeps dreaming of herself crash landing on a planet that wasn't Earth and thinking about her brother but not Yien another man. Eillah decides the best thing she can do is go to the states and try to find records of her past. She packs up a few items but found that she didn't have to sneak away because Yien was not in his room or around the house. Since Yien wasn't around she decided to take some of his guns for protection.

A few hours later Yien returns home to find Eillah gone and a note explaining that she had to leave for a while. Yien contacts Triers and tells him that Eillah must be killed now and Triers agrees. Yien goes to his communicator and calls the other commander, who escaped SeJai and Ullmaz, Ania. Ania is a Thuyor Clan Collector. She collects and trains dangerous creatures of all sorts for the clan to be used for the productiveness of the planet but after deeming loyalty to FaSod she began smuggling several creatures to Earth. Ania was in the dry lands coordinating Eillahs' crash landing and stayed in the shadows watching her ever since awaiting the call for her death and now Ania could not be happier. Ania used her tracking skills to carefully locate Eillah crossing through the dense forest. Ania sends out one of her creatures to kill Eillah and she watches nearby. Eillah began to walk slightly faster through the woods which she thought she knew quite well but with night still lingering it was hard to make out noises. Then she hears a noise like a growling has she begins to back up in the other direction. Suddenly a large creature lunges out at her and she dives to the ground barely missing the creatures gnawing mouth. Eillah quickly gets up and heads for a tree when the creature comes in front of her and starts to holler in pain. A man stabbed the creature from behind and they both rolled to the ground. Eillah took the gun out of her sack and stood in shock as the man wrestled with the beast.

The man continually stabbed the beast until it no longer moved. The man walked up to Eillah and asked if she was okay.

The man that saved her is Ullmaz and he knew something was wrong because she didn't recognize him. Ullmaz told her that he's been monitoring SETI officer Lang and followed him to the island. Eillah was very confused, she knows Ullmazs' face but can't remember how she knows him. Ullmaz asks Eillah to put the gun and she does while sobbing. Ullmaz tells Eillah that he returned SeJais' beacon and he should be there soon. Eillah still looked as though she didn't know whom or what he was speaking of. Ullmaz found it best to be subtle with her and ask her to trust him and go to his hideout to wait for SeJai. Eillah cautiously agrees and they leave. Ullmaz hopes he can help Eillah back to her old self and keep things calm until SeJai arrives.
In the distance Ania looks and sees her creature dead and Eillah and Ullmaz leaving together. Ania sends message to Yien that Ullmaz is on the island and is with Eillah. Yien tells Ania to not fail in her mission to kill Eillah. Ania carefully follows Ullmaz and Eillah has they go to his hideout in small village. Although Ania is angered by the loss her creature she vows to use more of her pets.
